Mrs. Katherine “Kitty” R. Davies, RN, 95, of Clinton, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at the Katherine Luther Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Clinton. Katherine was born in Constableville, NY, on December 19, 1925, the daughter of Godfrey and Rose (Gerber) Regetz. She was raised and educated in Constableville and proudly earned her nursing degree from Memorial Hospital in Utica. On November 6, 1947, Kitty was united in marriage with William O. Williams, Jr., a devoted union of 25 years, until William’s death in 1972. On July 10, 1976, she was united in marriage with Robert D. Davies, and they shared 30 wonderful years together, until Robert’s death in 2006. At one time, Kitty was employed with St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital in New Hartford, and later with Slocum Dickson Medical Group, retiring in 1988. Kitty was an avid golfer, enjoyed spending her winters in Arizona and was an animal lover, especially her dog, Sweet Pea, who recently passed. Mrs. Davies is survived by her two loving daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Stephen Dusseault of Barneveld and Anne and Eric Plante of New Hartford; six cherished grandchildren, Justin Dusseault and his wife, Dacie, Adam Dusseault and his wife, Kate, Laura Dougherty and her husband, Ed, Nicole Plante and her husband, Mike DePalma, Sarah O’Sullivan and her husband, Justin and Andrew Plante and his wife Courtney; thirteen Great grandchildren, Noah. Willow, Alanna, Emma and Ella Dusseault, Luke and Blake Dougherty, Dominic and Rocco DePalma, Clark and Grant O’Sullivan, Cole and Aiden Plante, and was anxiously awaiting the birth of her fourteenth great grandchild; a step-sister, Audrey Drake; sister-in-law, Jeanette Regetz, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, William O. Williams, III, sister, Marion Beyel, brother, Frederick Regetz and step-sister, Joan Claphanson. In keeping with Kitty’s wishes there are no calling hours and a private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Memorial Park in Kirkland.
