Mrs. Angela M. Nugent, 83, of Oriskany, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at her home, with her loving family by her side.

     Angela was born in Utica, on February 1, 1941, the daughter of Gerald and Theresa (Coria) Hoyle and received her education in Utica schools. On September 2, 1988, Angela was united in marriage with William Nugent. At one time, Angela was employed with St. Elizabeth Hospital in Utica. Angela had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need and was especially proud of her work with Kids Oneida. She will also be remembered as an avid animal lover and was of the Catholic faith. Angela will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

     Mrs. Nugent is survived by her loving husband, William; five children, Steven and Delores Wojcik, Patrick Wojcik, Jerry and Alecia Wojcik, John Wojcik and Diana and George Redner; one sister, Lois Hoyle as well as William’s children and several cherished grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Beverly, grandson Christopher and brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Sharon Hoyle.

     Mrs. Nugent’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., for the wonderful care and compassion you provided for Angela.

     In Keeping with Angela’s wishes, there will be no visitation of services.
