Mr. William “Bill” J. Powers, 75, of Clark Mills, NY, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Focus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Utica, with his beloved companion by his side.

     William was born in Utica, on July 6, 1949. He was raised and educated in Chadwick’s, NY and was a graduate of Chadwick’s High School. Bill was employed with Hamilton College in Clinton, retiring as maintenance foreman after 41 years of dedicated service. He was an avid sports enthusiast whose favorite teams were the NY Mets and NY Giants, coached soccer and little league and bowled for over 30 years, having achieved two 300 games in his illustrious bowling career. Bill was of the Catholic Faith.

    Mr. Powers is survived by the love of his life, Diane Schuff who shared 23 wonderful years with Bill; one daughter, Tina Powers; one son, Chad Powers; his longtime dear friend, Gary Edwards as well as Diane's family.

     There are no services planned, and Bill will be laid to rest with his father in Sauquoit Valley Cemetery, Sauquoit, NY.
