Mrs. Donna T. Szewczyk, 64, of Westmoreland, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Wynn Hospital, with her loving family by her side.

  Donna was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on September 26, 1960, the daughter of Wenceslao and Dolores (Flores) Zapata. She was raised and educated in Denver, CO and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. On April 23, 1987, Donna was united in marriage with Louis J. Szewczyk. For many years, Donna was employed with Bonide Products, LLC in Oriskany, NY. She was an avid Golden State Warriors fan, had a true passion for cooking and decorating with chili peppers and was of the Catholic faith.

  Donna is survived by her loving husband, Louis; daughter, Marcella Velasquez and her children and grandchildren of Denver, CO; two sons, Louis Szewczyk and his significant other, Ashley Shanley who was like a daughter-in-law to Donna and Erik Szewczyk all of Westmoreland; her mother, Dolores Zapata of Denver, CO; mother-in-law, Janice Szewczyk of Oriskany Falls, NY as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Wenceslao.

   In keeping with Donna’s wishes, there is no visitation or services. She will be laid to rest at the convenience of the family.
