Mr. Hoa Xuan Nguyen, 58, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 7, 2025, at his home.

Hoa was born on November 10, 1966, in Vietnam.  After coming to the states, and settled in Utica, NY and was employed by Hubbell Galvanizing, Yorkville, NY.  Hoa loved gardening, fishing, watching soccer and football especially the Seattle Seahawks.  He enjoyed his daughter’s canine companion Miso and always fed him too many treats.

Hoa is survived by his loving daughter Cherry Nguyen and her half siblings Tu Van Tran, Kim Thi Tran, and Thanh Thi Tran.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Hoa’s visitation on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 10:30AM with the Buddhist liturgy, from Heintz Funeral Service, Inc, 1517 Whitesboro Street, Utica.  At 12(Noon) procession will follow to Forest Hill Cemetery, Oneida Street, Utica where final committal prayer will be given.
