
Obituary of Rosefrances A. Todd
Mrs. Rosefrances A. Todd, 91, of Schuyler, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side.
Rosefrances was born in Philadelphia, PA, on March 22, 1934, the daughter of William T. and Gertrude (Szerlich) LePera. She was raised and educated in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. On September 21, 1957, Rosefrances was united in marriage with Thomas C. Todd at Our Lady of Consolation Church in Philadelphia, a loving and devoted union of 60 years until Thomas’ death in 2017. For many years, until her retirement, Rosefrances was employed as a ward secretary at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Utica. She was a member of St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church in Utica. Rosefrances’ greatest joy was her family. The love and devotion she had for them was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Mrs. Todd is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas R. and Julie Todd of Herkimer and Bill and Jeneen Todd of Schuyler; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Stephen Seals of Fernandina, FL; eight cherished grandchildren, Joseph Todd and Amrita Sandu, Christina Todd Roberts and her husband Colin, Stephanie Honour and her husband John, Sean Todd and his fiancé Danielle Bishop, Nicole Steet and her husband Joseph, John Seals, Halia Todd and Jimmy Sica and Natalie Todd and her fiancée Kyler Ford; eight adored great grandchildren, Falene, Derek, Patrick, Sean, Emma, Owen, Callie and Lily and was anxiously awaiting the birth of her 9th great grandchild; Also surviving her are her brother-in-law, James White of MA and sister-in-law, Geraldine Todd Hennelly of Ocean City, NJ as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Nicholas (Dolores) LePera, Anthony (Norma) LePera and Robert (Alba) LePera and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Idella White and Christina (Joseph) Moors.
Visitation for family and friends is Friday, April 25, 2025, from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church, 702 Columbia St., Utica, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. at the conclusion of visitation. Her burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Please omit floral offerings and consider donating to a charity of your choice in Rosefrances’ memory.
