Laurence E. Slusarczyk passed away on May 28,2025 at the Wynn Hospital.

     Laurence was born on October 5, 1951, in Utica to the late Edwin and Bernice (Boardman) Slusarczyk. He was educated in the Remsen school district and would later obtain a bachelors degree from Utica College of Syracuse University. He was a previous Raido announcer for the AG Radio Network prior to his retirement. Laurence had various hobbies, including; listing to music, playing tennis, swimming, basketball, observing wildlife, visiting the Library as well as just being a true libertarian.

     Laurence is survived by his sister and brother in law Heather and Brian Ownes. One Brother Berwin “BJ” Slusarczyk. A brother in law Tom Cassidy A special niece and nephew Lauren Owens and Tim Slusarczyk. Laurenece was predeceased by his parents Edwin and Bernice Slusarczyk and a sister Holly Cassidy.

Laurences Funeral Services for Laurence will be private and at the convience of the family.

     Laurence’s family would like to thank the staff at the Sunset nursing home in Boonville, and Wynn Hospital for the amazing care and kindness they showed to Laurence. A special thank youl to the staff at the Didymus Thomas Library for the compassion they gave Laurence when he would be a frequent visitor. Also to Anita the RN from Wynn Hospital thank you. You were an angel and Laurence loved you for the time, care and compassion you showed him.
