Jake Andrew Fernicola, Jr. Obituary

Jake Andrew Fernicola Jr. “The Boy” unexpectedly grew his angel wings on June 8th 2025. He instantly became an incredible son, grandson, brother and nephew. He enjoyed folding his hands together to keep cozy, sipping from his bottle, and opening his big blue eyes to stare at the family he loved eternally, especially his two big sisters.

Jake is survived by his mother and father, Tiffany Lefevre, and Jake Fernicola Sr., his two big sisters Parker and Marlow Fernicola, his grandparents Debbie Hajdasz, and Thomas Leone, his aunt and uncle Katie Hight, and Anthony Leone, his Great Grandmother Tina Leone, his grandmother Donna Fernicola, and uncle Anthony Fernicola.

Though his time on Earth was short, it is understood that his purpose is greater than anyone could imagine. His family will continue to live their lives not only for themselves, but for Jake, and with him at the center of their hearts. The family is asking for privacy at this time and thanks anybody who can send a prayer to make sure Jake’s journey to heaven is quick, and safe. They would also like to thank Heintz Funeral Services, the Utica Fire and Police Departments, and the staff at Wynn Hospital.
