Mr. Kenneth L. Pastor, 60, of N. Utica, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Wynn Hospital, with his loving family by his side.

     Kenneth was born in New Hartford, on April 14, 1965, the son of Jay and Jan (Kraeger) Pastor. He was raised in Utica, was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Mohawk Valley Community College and earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Syracuse University. On April 11, 1992, Kenneth was united in marriage with Michelle A. Harmor at St. Theodore’s Church in Rochester. Ken was employed in the restaurant industry in Utica, most notably as manager of Jack Appleseed’s in N. Utica. He was an avid sports enthusiast and a huge supporter of the Buffalo Bills and Syracuse University basketball. Ken was gifted artistically as a painter, enjoyed watching action movies, Sci-Fi movies, and was a big fan of Star Trek, Star Wars and the X-Files. He was also a CYO Basketball coach, Little League baseball coach and a parishioner of St. Mark’s Church in N. Utica.

     Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle; three loving children, Matthew Jay and Angela Pastor of N. Utica, Robert John Pastor of N. Utica and Courtney Ann and Connor McDonald of Chittenango; four cherished grandchildren, Emily, Adalina, Quinn and Ralph; his parents, Jay and Jan Pastor of Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Randy of TN; brother and sister-in-law, Rich and Anne-Mary Pastor of FL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard J. and Maryann Harmor and three brothers-in-law, Richard Harmor, III, David Harmor and Bobby and Kelli Harmor all of Rochester, as well as several nieces and nephews.

     In keeping with Ken’s wishes, there are no calling hours and a private family service will be held. He will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica.
