Cindy Lou Cowles, 54, of Rome, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Wynn Hospital with her loving family by her side.

     Cindy was born in Utica on September 2, 1970, the daughter of Lawrence and Barbara (Wilson) Cowles. Cindy was a graduate of Waterville High School and earned her associates degree from Mohawk Valley Community College. At one time, Cindy was employed at Ferris Industries in Stockbridge, NY and Monster Transmission in Tampa, FL. She enjoyed crocheting and golf and was a bicycling enthusiast, having participated in many Ride for Missing Children events.

     Cindy is survived by her loving parents, Lawrence and Barbara Cowles of York, SC; her brother, Stacey Cowles of York, SC; two dear friends, Donna Blenis of Rome, NY and Barb and Dave Adams of Deansboro, NY as well as her beloved canine companion, George.

     A private celebration of life to honor Cindy will be held for family and close friends.
