Mrs. Ruthann Colter, 69, of Clinton, NY, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Wynn Hospital with her loving family by her side.

    Ruthann was born in Utica, on July 10, 1956. She was raised and educated in Clinton and was a graduate of Clinton High School. On September 25, 1982, Ruthann was united in marriage with Daniel Colter.  For many years, she was employed locally in the retail industry. Ruthann enjoyed reading, crocheting, listening to country music and was a big fan of the TV show, Criminal Minds.

    Mrs. Colter is survived by her husband, Daniel Colter; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Daniel Colter and his fiancée Irina Tur and Peter and Amy Colter; daughter, Charlene Colter; five cherished grandchildren, Kaleb, Jayda, Jasper, Niko, Lotus and Ja; one sister and brother-in-law Dawn and Bob Russ and one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Tina Seelow as well as several nieces and nephews.

     Ruthann’s family will honor her in a private ceremony.
