Raymond H. Taylor, Jr., 56 of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at his home.

    Raymond was born in Little Falls, NY, on December 26, 1968, the son of Raymond, Sr. and Florence (Jungkind) Taylor and was a graduate of Canajoharie Central School. Raymond honorably service in the US Army National Guard. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, bike riding, watching TV, listening to music and especially spending time with his beloved daughters. Raymond will be remembered as a loving and caring man, who was always willing to help anyone in need. He was of the Christian faith.

    Raymond is survived by his four daughters, Rayonna Taylor, Shanni Taylor and her fiancée Shahiem Edwards, Reionna Taylor and Tanniequa Taylor; four sons, Levi Taylor, Kurtis Taylor, Drew Taylor and Brian Taylor; cherished grandchildren, Yomellyanies Morales-Colon, Xaniel Morales-Colon, Milanis Morales Colon, Arzell D. Watkins, Isaah Evans and Amaris Edwards; his mother, Florence Taylor; one sister, Bonnie Sitterly Flanning and two brothers, Richard Sitterly and Raymond Sitterly. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond.

    Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, followed by a prayer service at the conclusion of visitation.
