Paula J. Mika Obituary

   Mrs. Paula J. Mika, 77, of Frankfort, NY, passee away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Mohawk Valley in Ilion.


     Paula was born in Utica, on October 19, 1947, the daughter of Henry and Alice (Milotte) Kulik. She was raised locally and was a graduate of Whitesboro High School. Paula was united in marriage with Edward Mika at Sacred Heart Church in Utica, a blessed union of 46 years, until Edward’s passing in 2015. For many years, Paula was employed at the Walmart Distribution Center in Marcy, NY. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing and especially playing racquetball. Paul was parishioner of St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church in Utica.


     Mrs. Mika is survived by her daughter, Heather Mika of Utica; son, Christopher Mika of Frankfort; sister, Maryann Petroski of Florida as well as several nieces, nephews and her canine companion, Hunter. Besides her beloved husband Edward, Paula was predeceased by two brothers, Ronnie Kulik and Martin Kulik.


     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Paula’s funeral Mass of Christian burial on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church, 422 Tilden Ave., Utica. The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of the funeral Mass. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Yorkville.
