Mr. Paul J. Asfur, 65, of Marcy, NY, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Wynn Hospital with his loving family by his side.

    Paul was born in Utica, on September 23, 1960, the son of the late Anthony and Bertha (Schremmer) Asfur and grandson of the late Lena Asfur, with whom Paul held a special place in his heart for. On August 2, 1997, Paul married Gina Biamonte, the love of his life, with whom he shared a wonderful friendship and marriage of 28 years. Paul was a great salesman who spent most of his career with Combined Life Insurance Company. He enjoyed cooking and was an avid body builder with a passion for greatness.

    Paul is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Gina; son, Dylan Asfur of Marcy; daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and John Scalise of Ilion;  three brothers and two sister-in-laws, Sam and Lynn Asfur of FL, Anthony Asfur, Jr. and Edith Driver of Fl, Dave Asfur of Rome, and sister Mary Dickinson of Whitesboro, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. 

    Visitation for family and friends is Monday, November 10, 2025, from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at the Church of The Sacred Heart and St. Mary, Our lady of Czestochowa, 201 Main St., New York Mills, NY, followed by a funeral Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Utica.
