Mr. James M. Baron, 64, of N. Utica, passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Wynn Hospital with his loving family by his side.

   James was born in Utica, on October 10, 1961, the son of Edward and Virginia (Console) Baron. He was raised locally, attended St. Francis de Sales grade school and graduated from Utica Free Academy. On June 17, 1993, James was united in marriage with Sheila A. Brown, a loving and devoted union of 32 years. At one time, James was employed at Sears, Roebuck and Company in New Hartford, later at Alfred Publishing in Oriskany and most recently at Vicks Logistics Corp in Yorkville. James enjoyed Puzzles, Sunday football and especially loved hockey and the New Jersey Devils.

    Mr. Baron is survived by his beloved wife, Sheila; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Christina Baron of Secaucus, NJ; daughter, Andrea Baron of Dearborn, MI and brother and sister-in-law, Gregory and Susan Baron, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Virginia.
