Sandra L. Skumurski passed away December 15,2025 at Wynn Hospital with her family by her side.      Sandra was born on September 9, 1940, in Schenectady NY to the late Sigmund and Mary (Pietrzykowski) Lencewicz. Sandra was united in marriage to the late William J.  Skumurski Jr. Sandra enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, listening to Queen, and enjoying pro wrestling. She is survived by her children, Denise(Skumurski) and Paul Durrigan of NY Mills and Mark and Amy Skumurski of Utica.  She will be remembered for her big heart, cooking and sense of humor.

     A graveside service for Sandra will be on Tuesday December 23, 2025, at the Most Holy Redemer Cemetery in Niskayuna NY at 11:00am. Funeral Arrangements are with the Heintz Funeral Services Inc. 408 Herkimer Road Utica NY.

  The family would like to invite you to a celebration of her life on January 17, 2026 1pm-4pm at the Malsan-Jones VFM, 21 Garden St. NY Mills.

     The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors that took care of Sandra while in the ICU during the last 3 weeks of her life.
