Christine A. Albin, 60, of Utica, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Wynn Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Christine was born in Utica, on May 2. 1965, the daughter of Robert E., Sr. and Linda Lee (Thrasher) Albin. She was raised in Utica and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. For many years, Christine was employed at MetLife in Oriskany. She enjoyed gardening, reading, thrift store shopping and had a deep love for animals. Christine’s greatest joy was her beloved family, especially her cherished nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was of the catholic faith.
Christine is survived by her sisters and brother, Elizabeth “Beth” (William) Kelsey of Utica, Lorraine (Thomas) LoCaccio of Whitesboro and Robert “Bud” Albin, Jr. (Melissa Murphy) of Oriskany; her cherished nephews and nieces, Chad Albin, Andrew (Theresa) Kelsey, Jessica Morris, Colin Kelsey, Vito LoCaccio, Frankie Albin, Alyssa Albin, Skylar Albin and Kennedy Albin and her adored great nieces and nephews, Emilyrose, Margot, Ayvia, Oakleigh and David, Jr. as well as her precious canine companion, Stella and her precious feline companions, Alex, Willow and Carmel. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Linda.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Christine’s Memorial Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:30 AM at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 16 Park Ave, Whitesboro. She will be laid to rest with her parents at Glenside Cemetery in New York Mills, in the spring.
