Mrs. Joan Stuhlman, 89, of Utica, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Wynn Hospital following a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Joan was born in Utica on March 9, 1936, the daughter of Anthony and Ellen (Kennedy) Trino. On September 18, 1954, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Bert Stuhlman, at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church in Utica. A loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Joan’s family was always at the center of her life. She cherished summers spent at the Jersey Shore, Saratoga, and Florida. An exceptional cook, Joan delighted family and friends with meals prepared with love. She often spoke fondly of growing up in a three-generation household, an experience she considered one of the greatest blessings of her life.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bert Stuhlman; her daughter, Joann Stuhlman Callahan; and her granddaughter, Leslie.
