Geraldine was born in Utica on March 23, 1946, the daughter of Alfred and Mary (Firley) Jastzab. She was raised in Utica and was a proud graduate of Utica Free Academy. Geraldine was employed at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, where she dedicated 25 years of faithful service before her retirement. Geraldine had a passion for cooking, especially when preparing her cherished Sunday dinners for family. She also found great joy in spending time with her close-knit “Motorcycle Gang” friends: Teresa Leone, Anna and Mary Mezzanini, Mary Teti and Carmella DeCarlo. Above all, Geraldine’s greatest happiness came from her beloved family, particularly her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who meant the world to her. She was a woman of deep faith and a member of the Catholic community.

Geraldine is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Farrell and Craig Pauquette of Utica; her cherished grandchildren, Chelsea Farrell (Brian Demma) of Utica, Alexis Sprague (Glen Murray) of Utica, and Carter Pauquette of Utica; and her adored great-grandchildren, Giada Cozza, Santino Demma, and Luciana Demma. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom and Grace Farrell, and Viola Jastzabski, along with her lifelong dear friends, Linda Woodward, Rosemary Pastorella, Tammy Guerino, Patty Murphy, Pat Pilon, Dale Wallace, and Bonnie Jweid-Triplett. In addition to her parents, Alfred and Mary, Geraldine was predeceased by her brother, Alfred Jastzebski; her uncle and aunt, Bernard and Aldora Jastzebski; and her dear friend, Dorothy “Dottie” Calenzo.
