Christian Riley Faass passed away on March 20, 2026, at Wynn Hospital, surrounded by the love of those closest to him.

Born on February 3, 1968, in Utica, New York, Christian was the beloved son of Robert and Patricia (Riley) Faass. He was raised and educated in the Utica City School District and spent much of his life rooted in the community he called home. Christian worked as a set-up/operator with CONMED, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

Christian had a deep passion for music, especially playing the guitar, and found great joy in sharing his talent with friends and loved ones. He also had a love for adventure and embraced the thrill of riding his dirt bike whenever he could.

He is survived by his loving parents, Robert and Patricia Faass; his brother, Ian; and his partner in life, Lynn Weeks. He is also survived by his sister, Anne, and her husband, Adam King; his cherished nieces, Marisa and Fiona; and his nephews, Sam, Max, and Ben, many of whom he proudly served as godfather. Christian also leaves behind many cousins across the country who will remember him fondly.

Graveside services were held privately for the family on March 27, 2026, where Christian was laid to rest in the family plot.
