Mr. Robert “Bob” S. Shephard, 75, of Yorkville, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Wynn Hospital with his loving family by his side.

     Bob was born in Utica on April 10, 1950, the son of Mervin and Ruth (Moran) Shephard. He was raised locally and was a graduate of Whitesboro High School. He continued his education at the University of Tampa, where he earned an associate’s degree in business administration. Early in his career, Bob was employed with Canada Dry in Utica. He later dedicated over 30 years of service to Zimowski Food Specialties, Inc. in Chadwicks, NY, retiring in 2015. Bob was a sports enthusiast and an avid Buffalo Bills fan, proudly holding season tickets for almost two decades. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, love of telling jokes, and wonderful sense of humor. Above all, Bob’s greatest pride was his role as a devoted family man. His beloved family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, were the center of his world and the true light of his life.

     Mr. Shephard is survived by his loving children, Michael and Carmel Shephard of Colorado, Paula Bicking and her fiancé Keith Klein of Ilion and Michelle and John Rosinski of Oriskany; his cherished grandchildren, Roland Frisch of Ohio, Cassandra and Samuel Wells of Albany, Nicholas Rosinski and his fiancée Aliyah Marvel of Rome, Andrew Bicking of Pennsylvania and Justin Rosinski of Oriskany and his adored great grandchildren, Alena and RaeLani. He was predeceased by his parents, Merwin and Ruth.

     In keeping with Bob’s wishes, there are no calling hours or services.

       Mr. Shephard’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Win, as well as the nurses and staff of the ICU at Wynn Hospital, especially Joshua, for the compassionate and exceptional care provided to Bob.
