Mrs. Clara Ann Lasher, 71, of North Utica, passed away unexpectedly, at her home on Friday, April 10, 2026.

    Clara was born on November 11, 1954, in Bluefield, West Virginia, the daughter of Frederick and Donna (Jennings) Bucchi. She was raised and educated in Trenton, New Jersey, where she graduated from Trenton High School. Clara was united in marriage to the love of her life, Leroy George Lasher, and together they shared many years of love and devotion until his passing in 2007. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including cooking, shopping, and visiting yard sales. Clara had a fondness for collecting knick-knacks and especially cherished the time she spent tending to her plants. She was of the Baptist faith. Above all, Clara’s greatest joy was her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandson, who were truly the light of her life.

    Mrs. Lasher is survived by her loving children, Julia and Mark Murdock of Herkimer, Corey and Jason Frere of Little Falls, Jordan and Kira Lasher of Rome, and Autumn Snyder of Barneveld; her cherished grandchildren, Samantha Frere (Robert), Paris (Victor) Rosario Garcia, Kassidy Tyo, Ethan Tyo, Jackson Hadasz, Jameson McClusky, and Jayden McClusky; and her adored great-grandson, Oliver Bollman. She is also survived by her sister, Sheila Solarski of New Jersey; her sister-in-law, Vicki Bucchi of New Jersey; and her dear friend, Deborah Sugalski-Transue, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Leroy, and her parents, Frederick and Donna, Clara was predeceased by her brothers, Curtis Bucchi and Roger Bucchi, and her sisters, Darlene Hay and Priscilla Milliron.
