Mr. Sean Michael Spohn, 60, of Utica, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Wynn Hospital with his loving wife by his side.

     Sean was born in Syracuse, NY on August 3, 1965, the son of John Leo and Patricia (Prendergast) Spohn. He was raised and educated in Utica and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. On March 29, 2006, Sean was united in marriage to the love of his life, Deborah Marie Jensen. Sean was employed as an appliance specialist at The Home Depot in Utica, a position he truly enjoyed. He will be fondly remembered for his outrageous sense of humor and the joy he brought to those around him. Sean was a member of Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes Campus in Utica.

     Sean is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah; his sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Lawrence Gerber of South Carolina; his cherished niece, Molly Elizabeth; and his adored great-niece, Rowan.

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sean’s Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes Campus, 2222 Genesee Street, Utica. The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of the Mass.
