Beverly H. Anderson Obituary
Mrs. Beverly H. Anderson, 89, of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Charles T. Sitrin Health Care Center in New Hartford with her loving family by her side.
Beverly was born in Utica on July 22, 1936, the daughter of Francis “Frank” and Helen (Curtis) Poirier. She was raised in Utica, attended Blessed Sacrament School, and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. On June 30, 1956, Beverly was united in marriage to Norman H. Anderson, Sr. at St. Peter’s Church in North Utica, beginning a loving and devoted union that spanned 14 years, until Norman’s passing in 1970. Beverly found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid outdoors enthusiast, she especially enjoyed camping, birdwatching, and spending quiet moments with a good book. Above all else, Beverly cherished her family, who were truly the light and center of her life. She was of Catholic faith.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her loving son and daughter, Norman H. Anderson-Carpenter and his husband Michael of Clinton and Karen Anderson of Clinton; her two cherished grandchildren, Sarah (Greg) Mathias of North Carolina and Katie (Patrick) Wylie of North Carolina and her three adored great grandchildren, Charlotte, Madeline and Liam as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Beverly was predeceased by three brothers, Richard Poirier, Donald Poirier and Norman Poirier.
In keeping with Beverly’s wishes there are no calling hours, and a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Norman in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Whitesboro.
