Miss Lois Ann Morgan, 97, of Barneveld, NY, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Wynn Hospital in Utica.
Lois was born in Watertown, New York, on February 3, 1929, the daughter of Roswell Pierrepont and Myrtle H. (Mastin) Morgan. She was raised in Watertown and went on to earn her master’s degree in education. Lois dedicated many years of her life to teaching, serving as a beloved third-grade teacher in the Watertown school system.
Lois is survived by her three cherished friends, Sharon Hamilton of Barneveld, NY, Norma Benoit of Adams Center, NY, and Betty Viana of North Utica, NY.
In accordance with Lois’ wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of the Fourth Floor at Utica Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Lois throughout her time there.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., North Utica.
