Terrence E. Ellis passed away at his home on June 26,2026.  He was born in Utica, the son of Joseph and Mary (Wells) Ellis on May 28, 1937, one of seven brothers and one sister. He was predeceased by brothers Donald, Richard, Robert, James, and Gerald. He is survived by one brother John and sister Beverly, as well as sister-in-law Faye, nieces Roberta, Mary Susan and Cathy, as well as several other nieces and nephews, son Sean and adopted daughter Marsha. Terrence retired from New York State department of corrections as a x ray technician at the Shawangunk Correctional Facility in Walkill NY. Terry was a genuine great guy and will be terribly missed by his family and friends.
