Mr. Charles David Richardson, 85, of Remsen, NY, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Wynn Hospital with his loving family by his side.

     Charles, affectionately known to family and friends as Dave, was born in Chalfont, Pennsylvania on June 28, 1941, the son of George and Rose (Weiner) Richardson. He was raised in Pennsylvania and earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Maine. Charles Proudly served in the US Army from 1965 until his honorable discharge in 1968. In 1965, Dave was united in marriage to Justine Poniktera in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. For many years, he was employed as director of sales and marketing at Englehard Minerals and Chemicals Corporation in New Jersey. A man of many interests, he was an accomplished sailplane pilot and an enthusiastic parachutist. Dave was also an avid sportsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

     Mr. Richardson is survived by his loving children, his daughter, Debra Richardson of Forestport, NY, and his son and daughter-in-law, John and Leigh Richardson of Syracuse, NY. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Alexandra and Drew Cullum, Cody Richardson-Tilford, Samuel Richardson, and Avery Richardson, as well as his two adored great-grandchildren, Eamon and Isaac, In addition to his parents, George and Rose, Dave was predeceased by his first wife, Justine, and his sister, Lynn Baskin.

     In keeping with Dave’s wishes, there will be no visitation or formal services.
