Ryan M. Magee, 37, of North Utica, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026.  

     Ryan was born in Utica on November 16, 1988, the son of Michael Magee and Laura (LaSalle) Radley. He was raised locally and was a graduate of New Hartford High School. Ryan was employed by the Mohawk Valley Water Authority and was most recently employed at Price Chopper and the City of Utica Parks Department. Ryan enjoyed playing Pop Warner football as a young boy and later continued his love of sports by playing baseball at New Hartford High School and with the New Hartford American Legion Post. An avid weightlifting enthusiast, Ryan began lifting weights as a teenager and continued throughout his life. He was also actively involved in mixed martial arts (MMA). Ryan was a member of Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Utica.

    Ryan was known for his big heart and independent spirit. He always held firm in his beliefs and cared for his family and friends. Those who knew Ryan will remember him for his strength, determination, and the love he held for his family and friends.

    Ryan is survived by his cherished daughters, Carrina Magee and Isabella Magee both of South Carolina; his loving father, Michael Magee and Robyn Alberico of Marcy; his loving mother, Laura Radley and her husband Ronald Radley, Jr, of New Hartford; his sister, Sierra Radley of New Hartford; his two brothers, Nicholas Magee of Marcy and Mathew Radley of Buffalo and his loving paternal grandparents, James and Rose Ann Magee of North Utica, with whom Ryan lived with for the past several years. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Gloria LaSalle

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Ryan’s Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes Campus, 2222 Genesee St., Utica. Those wishing to honor Ryan’s memory are kindly asked to donate to the Rescue Mission of Utica, 293 Genesee St., Utica, NY 13502. (www.uticamission.org).
