Elva M. Crane, 88, of Oriskany Falls passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, NY. Elva was born in Vernon, NY on March 30, 1924, a daughter of Raymond and Inis (Perkins) Bean. On June 1, 1945, Elva was united in marriage to Robert Crane. Mr. Crane passed away on April 5, 1991. For many years Elva was employed with General Electric in Utica. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Oriskany Falls. Elva loved to crochet and play piano. She especially loved to entertain family and friends. Elva is survived by her six children, Richard Crane, Knoxboro, John and his wife Stephanie Crane, NM, Rosemary Ingalls, New Hartford, Colleen and her husband Dennis Baldwin, Waterville, Robert K. Crane, Knoxboro and Raymond K. Crane, Knoxboro, one sister, Vivian Jensen, FL, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Scott Crane and a sister, Thelma Davis. Mrs. Crane's funeral will be held Thursday December 6, 2012 at 10:00 at St. Joseph's Church, Oriskany Falls. Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery. Calling hours at the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 E. Park Row, Clinton, will be held on Wednesday from 4 - 7. Those so wishing may make donations to the Oriskany Falls Fire Department or Ambulance Service in Elva's memory.
