Albert V. Quartararo, 82, of North Utica passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Albert was born in Boston, MA on July 16, 1930 a son of Charles and Josephine (Puccia) Quartararo. Albert proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. On May 24, 1969 he was united in marriage to Diane T. Ciccone at St. Peter's Church, N. Utica. For many years until his retirement in 1993 Albert was employed with the Fidelity Investment Co. He was a parishioner of St. Peter's Church, N. Utica. Throughout his life Albert always enjoyed reading and model ship building. Albert is survived by his wife, Diane, his son, Albert Quartararo, of Woburn, MA, his mother-in-law, Teresa Ciccone, Utica, in-laws, Jimmy Ciccone, Utica and Joey and Cindy Ciccone, Frankfort and 4 nephews. Mr. Quartararo's funeral with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 8:45 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica and at 9:30 from St. Peter's Church, N. Utica. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Utica. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday from 5-8.
