Raymond F. Crouse, 80, of Whitesboro, passed away in Binghamton, NY, on August 4, 2012, with his son and daughter-in-law at his side. Ray was born in Utica, NY on October 25, 1931 the son of Peter and Leona (Glenn) Crouse. He was raised and educated locally. On January 9, 1954 at Sacred Heart Church, Utica, Ray was married to Lucretia Nunno, a union of 58 years, until her passing on May 28, 2012. For a number of years, until his retirement, Ray was employed at Tripp Mail Contractors in Whitesboro. He was a member of St. Paul's Church, Whitesboro. Raymond is survived by his son and daughter in law, Raymond Jr. and Michele Crouse of Binghamton, NY; three grandchildren, Ashley Crouse of Orlando, FL., Gianna Crouse and Jakob Crouse, both of Binghamton; one brother; Robert Crouse of Utica; nieces and nephews, Susan and Martin Coe, and their children; Joshua, Kiersten, Austin, and Bishop all of Floyd, and Robin Jones; and her children, Tricia and Richie all of Utica; his in-laws, Robert and Amelia Johnson, Nicholas and Rose Marie Crescenzo, Gino and Beatrice Nunno, and Dorie Wroblewski. Besides his parents and wife, Ray was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Loran and three brothers, Harold, Peter, and Donald Crouse. Mr. Crouse's funeral will be held Thursday, August 9, 2012, at 10:45 AM from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and at 11:30 at St. Paul's Church, Whitesboro, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. His burial and Rite of Committal will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitestown, NY. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Wednesday (today) from 4:00 till 7:00 PM. The family wishes to make a thank you to the Whitesboro Fire Dept. for all their service in the care of Raymond.
