Ronald P. Alberico, Jr., 53, of Georgia, formerly Utica, passed away at his home on June 28, 2012. Ron was born in Utica, NY on September 15, 1958 the son of Ronald P., Sr. and Virgie (Spence) Alberico and received his educated in the Utica and Holland Patent school systems. After high school, Ron proudly served his country in the United State Navy. For over 30 years until his death, he was employed with the US Postal Service. Ron was very active in the postal union, where he served as a past president. He attended Beacon Seminary in Georgia and lived his life through his religion and church activities. Ron used all his ambition doing volunteer work with many charities as well as counseling the homeless. He devoted his time to his family and most importantly his sons where he actively participated in their baseball, and football activities. Ron is survived by his wife, Robin (Sanders) Alberico of GA; his mother, Vergie S. Alberico of Utica; three sons , Ronald lll and his wife Amy Alberico of Minnisota and Jared Alberico and Jeremiah Alberico, both of Florida; two grandchildren, Patience and Faithful Alberico; one sister, Robyn A. Alberico and Michael Magee of Utica; and two brothers, Joseph J. and his wife Joanne Alberico of VA. and Jeffrey S. Alberico of Barneveld; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Ron was predeceased by his father, Ronald Alberico Sr. in 2007. Relatives and friends are invited to Ron's memorial service on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stittville United Methodist Church, Main St., Stittville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron's memory would be appreciated to the Charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., N. Utica.
