Yvette C. Dunn, 66, of Marcy passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Yvette was born in London, England on October 28, 1945 the daughter of Doreen (Risk) Giffune and the late Michael Giffune. She was raised and educated in Utica and was a graduate of the Utica School of Commerce. In Utica on August 13, 1977 Yvette was united in marriage to Edward Dunn a blessed union of twenty years until his death in 1997. For many years until her retirement Yvette was employed with the Bank of America. Yvette is survived by her mother, Doreen Giffune, Marcy, a sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Christopher Welch, Marcy, two nephews, Michael Welch and wife Gina, Marcy, and Jason Welch, Marcy, great nephews and niece, Michael, Nicholas, Noel and John Welch all of Marcy, and cousins, Carol and Maurice Isaac, NC and John and Geraldine Pallaria, FL. Yvette was predeceased by aunts and uncles, Andrew and Catherine Loconti and Gerald and Josephine DePaul. Mrs. Dunn's funeral will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 9:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica and at 10:00 from St. Mark's Church, N. Utica. Burial will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery, Utica. Calling hours at the funeral home are Saturday from 2-5.
