Lucretia Crouse, 77, of Whitesboro passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. Lucretia was born in Utica on June 10, 1934 the daughter of Leonard and Amelia (D'Amelio) Nunno, Sr. At Sacred Heart Church, Utica on January 9, 1954 Lucretia was united in marriage to Raymond Crouse. For 46 years until her retirement she was employed at St. Luke's Hospital. Lucretia was a member of St. Paul's Church, Whitesboro and a former member of St. Mary's Church, New York Mills. Lucretia is survived by her husband of 58 years Raymond, a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Michele Crouse, Jr., Binghamton, NY, three grandchildren, Ashley Crouse, Orlando, FL, Gianna Crouse, Binghamton and Jakob Crouse, Binghamton, her twin sister and brother-in-law, Amelia and Robert Johnson, FL , a sister and brother-in-law, Rose Marie and Nicholas Crescenzo, Schuyler, a brother and sister-in-law, Gino and Beatrice Nunno, New Hartford, nieces and nephews, Susan and Martin Coe, Joshua Coe, Kiersten Coe, Austin Coe, and Bishop Coe all of Floyd, Robin Jones, Tricia Jones, and Richie Jones all of Utica, a brother-in-law, Robert Crouse, Utica and a dear friend, Angeline Martin, Utica. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lucretia was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers, Teresa (Tess) Nunno, Carmen Nunno, Josephine Caldwell, Leonard Nunno, Jr., Vittrino (Victor) Nunno, and Umberto (Rocky) Nunno. Mrs. Crouse's funeral will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 10:45 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and at 11:30 from St. Paul's Church, Whitesboro. Burial will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday (Today) from 4-7. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses of the ICU of St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and the Whitesboro Volunteer Fire Department for all the loving care they gave to Lucretia.
