June E. Carlin, 82, of the Masonic Care Community left this life peacefully enveloped by her daughters comforting care on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 June was born in Rome, NY on July 18, 1929, a daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Harrig) Perry. On July 24, 1948, in Rome, June married Henry E. Carlin. Mr. Carlin passed away in 1961. For many years she was employed with Beaunit Fibers and then later until her retirement the Savoy Restaurant in Rome. June was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Ladies Aux. in Rome. June's favorite pastime was doing crossword puzzles and reading. June is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Virginia and James Borek, N. Utica and Kim Lottinville, Pawtucket, RI, four grandchildren, Deborah Bukowski and husband Scott, James Borek, Kristian Carroll. and Daniel Lottinville, three great grandchildren, Joshua Bukowski, Byron and Alana Carroll and a sister, Arlene Netzband, New London, NY. June was predeceased by six brothers and sisters. A celebration of June "Bugs" life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the Meditation Room of the Masonic Care Community, 2150 Bleecker St., Utica. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Those so wishing may make donations to the Masonic Care Community or the Stevens-Swan Humane Society in June's memory. Special thanks to the staff of the Windham Household for her exceptional care. They truly made it her home.
