September 07, 2011 I mostly remember my aunt Betty Ann and my Uncle George from my early childhood. Betty Ann always had a tranquil aura about her; Uncle George was a maker of enchantment, as his beautiful, child-like novelties in his backyard demonstrated. I always felt there was something special about their house on Herkimer Road. The fir trees surrounding the house, and the Hansel & Grentle like appearance of their property seemed like a sanctuary to me. I am sure deep inside their domain there existed a special love for all. The fact that Betty Ann contributed so many years of volunteer work, aiding others, is testimony to this. I am sure she will have a beautiful journey, carried on the wings of all our love. ~
