Ms. Marjorie I. Hester, 81, a resident of St. Joseph Nursing Home in Utica, formerly of Whitesboro, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford with her loving family by her side. She has been reunited with her best friend and companion of 25 years HUD. Marjorie was born in Utica on January 19, 1930 the daughter of William and Louise (Roullier) Bielby. She was raised in Oriskany and attended Oriskany schools. For Many years, Marjorie was employed with Chicago Markets in Utica and later with Price Chopper in New Hartford until her retirement. She enjoyed bowling, ceramics, and the outdoors, especially camping and was a member of SPPC. She was of the Catholic faith. Ms. Hester is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Frank Hester, Jr. of TX, Kathleen and Michael A. Cirasuolo, Sr., of Yorkville, Donna and Larry Edwards-VanSlyke of Fl and Deborah and Michael Schmoke of Savanna, NY; one son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Kellie (Rowlands) Edwards of Whitesboro; five beloved grandchildren, Frank and Shannon Hester, Michael A. and Roxanne Cirasuolo, Jr., Christina and John Trzepacz, Wayne Hester and DeeDee Abrams and six cherished great grandchildren Danae, Ryan , Mark , Michael III, Gianna and Gabby. She was predeceased by her sister, Helen Piersma. We love you and will miss you. Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of her family.
