Mr. Joseph F. Nappo, 63 of Clinton passed away on Sunday July 24, 2011 in the comfort of his home with his loving family by his side. Joseph was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 19, 1947 the son of Louis and Constance (Barbarisi) Nappo and received his education in Brooklyn schools. On September 8, 1979, Joseph married Anne M. Crosby in Queens, NY. For many years he was employed with Arlington Press in Brooklyn retiring in 2002. Joseph enjoyed bowling, music and recently took up the game a golf, but his greatest enjoyment came from playing with his grandchildren, Robert and Afton. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Utica. Mr. Nappo is survived by his beloved wife Anne; four cherished children, JoeyAnne Sherman and her husband Robert of Cassville, NY, Scott Nappo of Clinton, Lauren Nappo of Clinton and her boy friend Steve Stach and Matthew Nappo of Middletown, NY; two grandchildren whom he adored, Robert Joseph Sherman and Afton Lydia Sherman; his mother, Constance Nappo of Queens, NY; one sister, Marie Brucino of Queens, NY; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Lona Nappo of Queens, NY; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Anne Crosby; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Fran Crosby, Adrianne Crosby, Elisa and Anthony Britton, Tom Crosby, Paul and Belkis Crosby, Terry Crosby and David and Regina Crosby and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Louis Nappo. Private services, under the direction of Heintz Funeral Service, Inc. Clinton will be held at the convenience of his family.
