Dennis K. Fellows, 54, of North Utica passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 22, 2011. Dennis was born in Utica on November 5, 1956 a son of the late Dewitt Clinton and Gloria (Lehner) Fellows. In Utica on March 26, 1977 Dennis was united in marriage to Beverly Altieri. For the past 11 years Dennis has been employed with St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. During his lifetime Dennis authored 3 books on the heart. Dennis will be remembered for his dedication to his family. They were his pride and joy and meant the world to him. He enjoyed fishing , woodworking and his pets ratties. Dennis is survived by his wife, Beverly, his two sons, Christopher Fellows, CA and Matthew Fellows, Utica, his sisters and brothers, Patricia and Thomas Reilly of Camillus, NY, Suzan and Thomas Angier of Leesburg, FL, Judith and Foster Butts of Frankfort, NY, Sandra and Frank Zalatan of Frankfort, NY, Richard and Linda Fellows of Oneida, NY, Michael and Pamela Fellows of Utica, NY and Regina Giacovelli of Frankfort, NY, his Father -in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Eugenia Altieri of Marcy, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service for Mr. Fellows will be held on Friday May 27, 2011 at 11:00 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. There are no calling hours. Those so wishing may make donations to the American Heart Association in Dennis' memory.
