Mrs. Patricia C. Van Hatten, 61, of Marcy, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side. Patricia was born in Rome, NY on April 1, 1957, the daughter of Vincent and Cecelia (Rebiss) Bunal. She was raised and educated in Rome and was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. She continued her education at BOCES where she earned her LPN license. On May 29, 1976, Patricia was united in marriage with Patrick Van Hatten at Transfiguration Church in Rome. For 22 years, Patricia was employed as a LPN with Dr. Thomas Ryan and for 13 years as a bus driver with Whitesboro Central School District. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, boating, fishing and camping and was a member of Maynard United Methodist Church. Mrs. Van Hatten is survived by her beloved husband, Patrick; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kristie Van Hatten and Kevin Rowe of Whitesboro and Lori and Chris Molloy of Marcy; seven cherished grandchildren, Karena Molloy of VA, Christopher Molloy, II of Ilion, Rae Smith, Alysa Smith, Nathan Molloy and Quinn Molloy all of Marcy and Coralyn Rowe of Whitesboro; one sister, Marlene Anson and Kevin Moteyunas of Syracuse; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Suzanne Bunal of TN as well as several nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Cecelia Bunal. A memorial service, celebrating Patricia’s life, will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Maynard United Methodist Church, 9626 Maynard Dr., Marcy, NY.
