Helen U. Williams , 94, was reunited with her husband, Rolly on Wednesday April 6, 2011. Helen, formerly of Schuyler passed away at the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home where she was resident, with her loving family by her side. Helen was born in Frankfort, NY on January 1, 1916. In Frankfort Helen married Rowland (Rolly) Williams. Mr. Williams passed away on October 7, 2006. For many years she was employed with the Mele Manufacturing Co. in Utica. She was of the Methodist faith. Helen had a great passion for flower gardening. She especially loved to cook which was evident from her large collection of cookbooks. Helen is survived by a special niece and nephew, Barbara Van Allen, Utica, and Donald and his wife Pauline Haman, W. Schuyler, niece and nephews, Linda Turner, Ford and Shirley Haman Jr., LeRoy and Carol Haman, and Richard Williams, great nieces and very special friends, Bonnie Coniguliaro, Ilion, and Christine Buda, Marcy, great great nieces and caregivers, Ashley, Angelica and Jessica, great great niece, Karlie, great great nephews, John Haman, Michael Haman, and Paul Coniguliaro, great great great nephews, Logan and Tyler, and a great great great niece, Aubrie. Helen was predeceased by a brother, Bob Withers. Mrs. Williams funeral will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 12:30 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica with the Reverend Cindy Makarchuk officiating. Burial will be in the West Schuyler Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Saturday morning 11:30 - 12:30.
