Marilyn J. Neri, 76, who was residing with her sister, Monica Zabinski in NY Mills, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Abraham House in Utica with her loving family by her side. Marilyn was born in Utica on January 7, 1942, the daughter of Julian (Earl) and Florence (Hoffman) Zabinski and received her education in Utica schools. For many years, Marilyn was employed with Diversified Case in Yorkville. She was of the Lutheran Faith. Ms. Neri is survived by her son, Ralph Neri; her daughter, Renee Neri and her fiancée Mike Teti; four cherished grandchildren, Michael Lackey, Carmella Neri, Richard Neri and his wife Sarah and Gianna Neri; one adored great grandson, Daniel Neri and one sister, Monica “Mona” Zabinski. Also surviving are Melisa Sauter and her children, Ashlee and Brandon and her former daughter-in-law, Elizabeth. She was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Florence and her son, Richard Neri. In keeping with Marilyn’s wishes, there are no calling hours or services. Those so wishing, may make a donation to the Abraham House, 1203 Kemble St., Utica, NY 13501 in Marilyn’s memory. Marilyn’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Abraham House, for the loving care and compassion you provided to Marilyn during her time there.
