Keith B. Snyder, 79, of Deerfield passed away on Sunday January 23, 2011 in Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare. Keith was born in Malone, NY on May 11, 1931 a son of Bradley and Goldie (Howe) Snyder. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1950-1954. In Lowville, NY on September 24, 1954 Keith married Helen Jean Allen. For many years until his retirement in 1996 Keith was employed with Marine Midland Bank in Utica. After his retirement he was employed with Brian Barr Cadillac and Tobin Chrysler-Plymouth. He was a member of the American Legion Post #229 in Utica. Keith is survived by his wife, Helen Jean, a son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Rebecca Snyder, Syracuse, 6 grandchildren, Sean, Carly, Emily, Dana, Marina and Tiffani, a great grandson, Ty, a brother and sister-in-law, Jack C. and Wava Snyder and their son Jack-Bradley Snyder of Watertown, a daughter-in-law, Amy Mower, Clinton and Keith's and Helen Jean's "adopted daughter" Tammy McCarthy. Keith was predeceased by a son, Kevin B. Snyder in 1986 a daughter, Kristine A. Giannandrea in 2006. A private funeral service for family and close friends will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Those so wishing may make donations to the Deerfield Volunteer Fire Department or the Stevens-Swan Humane Society in Keith's memory. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and nurses of the Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare CCU and especially to Dr. Joseph Booth and his staff and Dr. Gerry Love for all the loving care given to Keith.
