Raymond W. Bork, 80, of Whitesboro, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 at his home. Raymond was born in Schuyler, NY on January 20, 1930, the son of LeRoy Herbert and Dorothy (Booth) Bork. He was raised and educated in Utica, and went on to serve his country with the US Army during the Korean War. On May 19, 1953, Raymond married Nancy I. Scharbach. He was employed with PF Scheidelman's in Utica. Raymond is a former member of St. George's Episcopal Church in Utica. Raymond is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Bork, Whitesboro; his son, Raymond Bork, New Hartford, his daughter and son-in-law, Terry Lynn and Jeremy Miller, Florida. Also surviving are two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy and Robert Schram, New Hartford, June Tinker, New Berlin, NY, as well as by several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, LeRoy Bork. Funeral Services for Mr. Bork will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Kirkland. Those wishing may donate to Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps. in Raymond's memory.
