Elaine A. Walsh, 67, of Cosby Road, North Utica, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Siegenthaler Center in New Hartford after a long illness. Elaine was born January 2, 1943 in Johnson City, NY, the daughter of Nelson and Dorothy (Basler) Randall. She was raised and educated in Utica, graduating from Utica schools and later from the Utica School of Commerce. On January 11, 1964, Elaine married Warren W. Walsh, in Whitesboro, NY. She was employed with Trenton Technologies in Utica, until the time of her illness. Elaine was a collector of Fenton Art Glass. She was of the Catholic faith. Elaine is survived by her husband, Warren Walsh, Utica; her daughter and son-in-law, Rennae and Todd A. Miller, Albany; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Beverly and William Kelsey, Whitesboro, Alice Almond, Utica, Virginia and Pete Bronowicz, North Utica; as well as by several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother, Perry Randall. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 4 - 7 pm at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., North Utica. Funeral Services and interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitestown will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
