Mrs. Josephine L. Hall, 80, of Schuyler, NY went to be with the Lord on Sunday June 20, 2010 where she will be reunited with her beloved husband, parents, brothers and sisters. Josephine was born in Utica on March 27, 1930 the daughter of Joseph and Theresa (Castelli) Zegarelli. She was raised in Utica, was a graduate of Proctor High School class of 1947 and in 1949 earned an associate's degree from Utica Tech. On April 5, 1952 Josephine married Harrison Hall Sr. at First Baptist Church in N. Utica, a devoted union of 42 years until Harrison's death in 1994. For many years she was employed with Rome Developmental Center retiring in 1985. Josephine was a member of W. Schuyler United Methodist Church and the Schuyler Senior Citizens. She enjoyed crocheting, taking trips, her monthly family luncheons and for many years spending time at her camp in the town of Indian Lake. Mrs. Hall is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Harrison Hall and KaLynn Busler of Thornton, CO and Richard and Elizabeth Hall of Schuyler; two grandchildren, Richard A. Hall of Greensboro, NC and Stephen Ahonen of Thornton, CO; one sister, Nancy Hrybiniak of Schuyler; a sister-in-law, Rose Zegarelli of New Hartford and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Valenzano and Muffy Scalzo and four brothers, Michael, Benny, Jerry and Louis Zegarelli. A memorial service for Mrs. Hall will be held on Friday June 25, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at West Schuyler United Methodist Church, 297 Wood Lane, Schuyler, NY. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours for family and friends are Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica.
