Mrs. Edna M. Clark, 81, of Utica, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side. Edna was born in Little Falls, NY on December 12, 1936, the daughter of William and Edna (Jones) Munn. She was raised and educated in Little Falls and was a graduate of Little Falls High School. At one time, Edna was employed with the Boston Store in Utica and for 20 years until her retirement in 2001, with St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital in New Hartford. Edna enjoyed traveling, especially to Atlantic City and she was a devoted parishioner of Historic Old St. John’s Church in Utica. She was an excellent cook and holidays were always spent at nana’s house. Edna was the matriarch of the family whose life was centered around her children and grandchildren. She never missed a school event or extra-curricular activity of her beloved children and grandchildren and will be fondly remembered by family and friends as the “family taxi driver.” Mrs. Clark is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Clark, Carla Clark and Jessica Clark all of Utica; 7 cherished grandchildren, Rafael (Michelle) Rios, Michael Rios, Dena Rios (Leon), Christopher Clark (Rosa), Cory Clark (Kassie), Steven Clark (Julie) and Alexis Clark (Rowsean); 12 adored great grandchildren, Jaden, Christian, Kingston, Daevonte’, Jasih’, Izaiah, Christopher, A’lanni, Jai’vien, Anthony, Louie and Rachael as well as her canine companions, Rocco and Chloe. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Edna, one brother, Edward Munn and her beloved dog, Baby. In keeping with Edna’s wishes, there are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Historic Old St. John’s Church in Utica. Her Rite of Committal and burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica. Mrs. Clark’s family extends their sincerest gratitude to their family and friends for the love and support you showed during this most difficult time.
