Mrs. Beverly Jean Bertram, 76 of N. Utica passed away Tuesday March 2, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. Beverly was born in Syracuse on December 19, 1933 the daughter of Harold and Genevieve (Devereaux) Willoughby and received her education in Syracuse schools. On May 12, 1956 Jean married Roland H. Bertram at St. Bridget's Church in Syracuse. At one time Jean was employed with the NY Telephone Company and until her retirement in the accounting department with Oneida National Bank and later Bank of America. Jean was a parishioner of St. Peter's Church, N. Utica, enjoyed flowers and gardening and for many years was actively involved in ceramics. Mrs. Bertram is survived by her beloved husband, Roland of N. Utica; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Roland P. Bertram of Utica and Bruce and Sarah Bertram of MI; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Helen Baratta of Solvay, NY, Diane Neish of Baldwinsville and Nancy and Fred Aregano of Syracuse; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert Willoughby of Syracuse and Harold and Ann Willoughby of Syracuse and several grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was predeceased by her son Gregory on January 17, 2010, one sister, Sandra and one brother, Ronald. Mrs. Bertram's funeral will be held on Sunday March 7, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Entombment in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum at Holy Trinity in Yorkville will be held at the convenience of the family.
