Gregory Bertram, 47, of Rochester and formerly of Utica passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. Gregory was born in Utica on November 19, 1962 the son of Roland H. and Beverly (Willoughby) Bertram. Gregory received his education from St. Peter's Grammar School, Utica, J.F.K. High School, Utica and Oswego College. He was currently employed with the Bona Via Co. in Rochester. Gregory was an avid sports fan with the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Dallas Cowboys being his favorite. Gregory is survived by his parents, Roland and Beverly Bertram of Utica, two brothers and a sister-in-law; Roland P. Bertram, Utica and Bruce and Sarah Bertram, MI, a special friend, Cheryl Gamble, Rochester and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Gregory's funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., North Utica. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday from 4-7. Burial will take place in Holy Trinity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the American Cancer Society.
