Susan M. Buckley, 55, of Utica, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. Susan was born April 11, 1954 in New Harford, the daughter of John F. and Micheline (Ballou) Buckley. She was raised and educated locally. Susan was a former member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Utica. She will be remembered for her kindness, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to helping those around her. Susan is survived by her son, Sean Morelle, New Hartford; her fiancé, Robert Russell, Utica ; two brothers and sisters-in-law, R. Garry and Shirley Buckley, Virginia; Michael and Suzanne Buckley, Brewerton, NY, as well as several nieces and nephews. Susan's Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2009 at 7:00 pm at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, with Rev. Joseph Salerno presiding. Interment in Calvary Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are invited to memorial calling hours, Monday evening, from 5 - 7 pm, prior to the service.
